Trade Up For Charity is a year-long fundraising initiative by Nxt8gThng (Next Big Thing), created to support the incredible work of the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Foundation and the children and families who rely on it every day.

The mission is simple, but ambitious:

🎯 Raise $10,000 by the end of 2026 for the RCH Foundation.

Alongside direct donations through this page, I’ll be taking on a unique challenge throughout 2026 — starting with just a $10 Pokémon card.

From there, I’ll attend expos, conventions, community events, and collector meetups across the year, trading up item by item. The goal is to build a large and valuable pool of Pokémon collectibles, which will be:

1. 🟡 Auctioned off, with all proceeds going directly to the RCH Foundation
2. 🎁 Gifted to children at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne during the Christmas period, to bring joy, distraction, and a little bit of magic during a difficult time

Every trade, every event, and every milestone will be documented publicly so that supporters can follow the journey from a single $10 card to something truly impactful.

This fundraiser is about more than collectibles; it’s about community, generosity, and using something I love to help kids who deserve every chance, every smile, and every bit of support we can give them.
