On 19 November, Fresh State will host its inaugural Cherry Auction in Melbourne Market to raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital and support the life-changing care it provides to sick children and their families.

For many families, The Royal Children’s Hospital is there during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. This auction is an opportunity for Victoria’s fresh produce industry to come together, give back and help the hospital continue providing children with the specialist care and support they need.

Fresh State represents wholesalers, growers and businesses across Victoria’s fresh produce sector. Community is at the heart of our industry, which is why we are proud to bring our members and partners together for this important cause.

Held in partnership with the Melbourne Market Authority and Toyota Material Handling, the auction will see bidders compete for a box of premium cherries. The highest bidder will be crowned the inaugural Fresh State Cherry King or Queen.

A range of other prizes and items will be auctioned throughout the event including a forklift that Toyota Material Handling has generously donated as a prize.
